Petty & Petulant

The SNP's strategy of picking fights with Westminster is an obvious one. They hope to demonstrate that they are the voice of reason and therefore come the referendum or next election, whichever comes soonest, the SNP will see their votes rise and the dream will become a reality. They do, however, have to be careful that they don't come off as petty and petulant. Today in Scotland on Sunday the Scottish Executive said it would no longer work with a UK government committee which is examining how to store nuclear waste in the long term.
