In Scotland on Sunday there is the inevitable Joker McConnell will go in a matter of months story. What's surprising is how far down the pecking order of stories it is to be found. So who's next. Wendy Alexander (close to Gordon) of course, Andy Kerr (too close to the Joker) and Margaret Curran (has Gordon's backing) and the three that feature. I’ve always thought Wendy would be a likely bet, she's a woman and in the GB camp. I hadn't given much thought to Margaret Curran, but I think the idea of a woman up against the Salmon would be a good ploy.
