Bill Wyman in Peebles

Starting next Monday Bill Wyman's photo exhibition opens in Peebles. There are two nice pieces in the Scotsman. A news article and an interview with Bill. As the news piece points out it's San Francisco, Los Angeles, Yokyo and now.....Peebles. You couldn't make it up!

There will be twenty of Bill's stunning shots on display, and for sale, at the Eastgate Theatre for the whole of October. Fresh from his recent tour of Scandinavia with his Rhythm Kings and shortly before appearing on the bill with Led Zeppelin in London Bill will be in Peebles for two nights. On 17th October there will be a Blues Odyssey night at which Bill and me , in my capacity as the chief oily rag, will talk about making the TV series and the history of the blues. The following night, Thursday 18th October, is an 'Audience with Bill' hosted by BBC radio. Both are to raise funds for the Eastgate theatre and more information is on their website.

a Led Zeppelin reunion?! I'm deeply shocked (and slightly dismayed).

I'd sure like to be there for that. Sounds like a lot of fun.
Does Bill have any plans of bringing the Rhythm Kings to the States in the next few years?

PS--I'd love to see Led Zep in concert. I never thought they'd get back together.

I think it's probably a no to the Rhythm Kings in North America. Bill is still not keen on flying and so it's always a tricky one. The Led Zep thing is brilliant. I'm going to 'help' Bill and the band. I'll report back!
