One Man A Revolt Does Not Make

'Salmond faces revolt over party's transport strategy' shouts a Scotsman's headline this morning. Naturally it's about the Edinburgh tram but when you read the article it turns out to be one back bench MSP. Apparently Christopher Harvie "an MSP for Mid-Scotland and Fife, warned yesterday that the trams were "absolutely vital" for the Central Belt." Mr Harvie, the president of the Scottish Association for Public Transport, said: "If we get this decision wrong now, we are going to get hammered." Since when did one person constitute a revolt? The Scotsman increasingly has been going in for this kind of nonsense with its headline writers attempting to sex up a story.
