Maybe Pop & Politics Do Mix

Jess Rae, the kilted rocker who had the hit with Over The Sea in 1985 (I say hit, it made No.65) and helped David Steel with his burgeoning pop career in 1983 - I Feel Liberal, Alright - is to stand for Holyrood on May 3rd. He is in our constituency (Roxburgh & Berwickshire), up against the big four. His policies are a little unclear at present but I understand taking the Borders out of Scotland and declaring independence is central to his policies. Screaming Lord Sutch would be proud.
