The Green Police
The Green Police are everywhere. There was a piece on BBC Breakfast news this morning for which the trail said. "Just how environmentally unfriendly are cruise ships?" It's like most of what's becoming wrong with our news. First off it's not news and it's about editorial bias.
Let's all go back to walking to work, let's all use candles, let's only eat tomatoes in the British summer, let's....
You get the picture, it's thought control.

Point taken. But until recently, cruise ships dumped all their sewage into the ocean.
Thank goodness for the green police. They are kind of like the canaries in the coal mine. When they grow too shrill, one can always ignore them, but one is also mighty glad they are out there.
Rob, that's a really good point. In my defence it was more aimed at the kind of news bent that we are now getting here in the UK. Everything is a pending global disaster. If you had just arrived from Mars you'd be convinced Earth was moments away from Armageddon.
Our Prez refuses to even believe global warming is real. Probably because he's an oilman and because the US is the world's number one polluter. Plus, environmentalism is bad for the economy (the current government position).
