Given the news that Tony Blair has held talks with some of his oldest allies over his potential campaign to become the EU's first full-time president, and given the fact that our former PM seems to have four of five other jobs, isn't it somewhat surprising that he didn't go for the England Manager's job, as well as presenting the new, News at Ten. I hear Cliff Richard is going on tour; perhaps there's a slot for TB on guitar?
Over at the new Tony Blair web site, rather surprisingly called tonyblairoffice.org (maybe he's only going to have a virtual office, perhaps he'll open one in Second Life where he can buy virtual furniture and other stuff) there's some interesting things to ponder. But there's nothing more interesting than on the contacts page where it lists his office address (a PO Box in London) and a contact for media enquiries - mediabids@tonyblairoffice.org. Clearly the former PM does not intend doing anything for nothing. It's a family affair.....
