Tonight, on the invitation of my son Matt, I attended the Idaho Democratic Caucus, though I am an Independent. I ended up casting a vote for Obama, on the encouragement of my son. I am a McCain supporter, but certainly, Obama is my favorite Demo running. In our small state of Idaho, population a little over a million, Obama had his biggest Super Tuesday victory, garnering nearly eighty percent of the vote. What a fascinating election it's been. The first woman with a chance to win, the first African-American, and the first Mormon.
It's also my opinion that this election will be the most interesting in US history! Discussion of whether "text voting" should be introduced to boost election participation.
