Very Low Food Miles.....Yards?

This is turning into Mrs. H's blog by proxy. Of course she does most of the interesting things - I just write. Yesterday she came back from polytunnel world and the vegetable garden with our dinner. It tasted as good as it looked....

There's Chard, Spinach, Kale, courgettes, mini potatoes (don't ask me the variety, she did tell me but I've forgotten), coriander and broccoli.

It's possible those potatoes are russets, judging from the color. (I am from Idaho, after all, and somewhat of an expert by default).

That'll be the Irish in you Rob! I'll leave it to Mrs. H. to tell you exactly what the potatoes are....

Rob, they are called mimi, they are early potatoes and quite small. They are probably from the same strain as your russets. They were recommended by Monty Don on a very popular garden TV program here called Gardeners World. They are a good salad potato not floury we would grow them again.
