Richard, you've just reminded me of the time we spent in Memphis shooting Bill Wyman's Blues Odysssey. We were staying in that dump known as the Marriott Hotel. On the second morning I must've been first up because I came down for breakfast to find the restaurant deserted.
"Where is everybody?" I asked the waitress. She just shrugged. "Well, there ain't nobody here but us chickens!" I cried. She just looked at me with baleful and dull eyes and muttered "I ain't no chicken".
I well remember that! It's amazing just how many blues and rock songs are rooted in the country. A strong reminder that that's where the blues started out.

Actually, Coleslaw was written by Jesse Stone. He's got a style a lot like Louis'. I think he was either one of Louis' influences or a close friend.
