Growing Tired of London

I'm in London, I'm not keen. Even a trip to Hatchards (the world's best book shop) failed to lift my spirits on account of the fact that I couldn't find anything much to buy. I'll try again later in case publishers have made a special delivery....I live in hope.

More as it happens....

Dr Johnston memorably said 'He who is tired of London is tired of life'

And what a contrast to Duns.

Hatchards and the other great book stores are slowly bing killed off by Amazon and their like-not just convenience but discounted prices

Richard, if you think London is tiring, try Idaho Falls, Idaho (that's in the US for those who never heard of either Idaho Falls or Idaho). ;0)
