Cuckoo Watch No.1

The story today in the SCOTSMAN about the prisoner who claims that his rights have been violated because a recorded message when he phones from prison was an unnecessary and embarrassing reminder of where he was phoning from is a nonsense. The Prisoner has won his case. According the judge the messages contravened EU law

Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights decrees that "everyone has the right to respect for his private and family life, his home and his correspondence".

The law is an ass.

The prisoner was serving 21 years for assault and armed robbery - so much for his victim’s human rights and the invasion of their privacy.

The inmates are taking over the asylum.
