You Couldn't Make It Up No.14

In 1994 the US Post Office issued a stamp commemorating Robert Johnson. In the spirit of political correctness they airbrushed out the cigarette that he was smoking.

    I think Robert looks better without the butt hanging out of his mouth. Come to think of it, I can't recall any US postage stamps showing someone smoking or drinking. I wonder if there are?

  5. is it cos i is black? could be what's happened is white middle class perception that big ciggy in a black youth's mouth obviously means he's on drugs.
